Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae is a sweet, playful three-year-old. She was attacked by another dog and has been in and out of several veterinary clinics since — MedVet in Dayton, then His Hands Extended Sanctuary in St. Paris, and most recently Heritage Veterinary Hospital in Flint, Michigan.

The vets at Heritage have recommended a leg amputation to save her life. That surgery alone costs $2,700. She also still has a head wound needing ongoing care, and will need medication through her recovery.

Her owner had to rehome her to a friend in Flint, who has taken on her day-to-day care. The money goes to the surgery, the medication and that ongoing care.
